Partner in Education - Betz Elementary
Betz Elementary currently has roughly 300 students and 57 staff members made up of educators, administrators, and facility. We are currently working closely with the administration at the school to partner with them and help meet some needs of the staff, students, and families in the Olde Towne neighborhood.
Ways to support Betz Elementary
Classroom support: may include reading to students, working individually with a student on an assignment such as spelling words or math concept, being a buddy during a sensory break, providing socio-emotional support to students in the classroom.
Classroom parties: donating snacks, organizing and facilitating an activity, or simply being present offering hope and encouragement
Summer picnics: donating food or solicitating donations, leading a game, DJ music, assist with coordination efforts, being present and having fun.
School wide: Life Groups or Thrivent Action Teams can organize a project by either collecting items that the school needs to enhance the learning environment for students and staff; leading a beatification project or assembling items (ie., bookcases, equipment.
