NextGen Junior High LIVE Mentor

A NextGen Junior High Mentor has the opportunity to impact the lives of Thanksgiving’s Junior High students.  A Mentor pours into the lives of churched and unchurched teens both spiritually and just as a positive influence who is willing to be there and listen to them as they navigate their early teen years.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a passion to pour into the lives of Junior High students on a consistent basis and want to build relationships.  Must have a love for students and be excited to show it at all times.  Must be a positive role model and have a growing relationship with Christ; and be willing to share experiences of how to grow your faith even in challenging times, especially as students begin the Confirmation process.
Must be at least 19 years of age.

BENEFITS
Benefits to volunteer include the satisfaction of watching students grow in their spiritual faith walk and building individual relationships with Junior High students. Become part of a team that has an opportunity to mentor students who might not otherwise have anyone else to turn to as a mentor.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT
It is very important that Junior High Mentors are able to participate in Junior High Live Wednesday nights as scheduled. Each weekly meeting will normally last approximately 2 hours and this is a two-year commitment.
